Contagious Energy, Week After Week

At McCormick Assisted Living in Green Bay, we’ve been fortunate to have Lisa’s creative movement class for over five years. Our residents eagerly look forward to her visits, where we engage not only our bodies but also our minds and spirits. We are a vibrant group of ladies and gentlemen who love to move with Lisa. The energy in the room is contagious, filled with excitement and joy. Staying active is essential at any age, and Lisa’s dance class makes it enjoyable and easy to keep moving to the music. Lisa brings so much joy to all of us!

I’ve Found My People Again

Passing the Joy Forward

“When you’ve experienced others pouring their joy into you, you can’t help but want to pass it on.

During a dark time in our family, God gave me the word JOY to hold onto. I discovered that I feel the most joy when I’m serving others—especially when I can draw out smiles from those who may be feeling down.

Volunteering with EbM gives me a special way to share that joy with people living with Parkinson’s who may be struggling with “off” days.

Having been diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson’s four years ago, I understand their emotions and challenges. Pouring into this incredible group and brightening their days is what brings me the greatest joy.”
